i have been trying to create a measure or column that calculates the max date in a month, across different months of the year
i tried CALCULATE(MAX(Tablename[columnname])) but this just gives me the last day in the entire column
i need max date for each month in the column.
pls i need help with this.

You should have a date column, then have a month column as my sample table. Then please create a calculated column using the formula:
MAX = CALCULATE(MAX(TableName[Date]),ALLEXCEPT(TableName,TableName[Month]))

@Peeches123 so if i understand you correctly you want to get the last day of each month that is reflected in each column?
