matrix date drilldown

lutolfr , Date coming to blank means.
Join with date table is missing or inactive
The join column in table has timestamp and join is failing for time other than 12 AM
Dates are missing in date tbale

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :radacad sqlbi My Video Series Appreciate your Kudos.

Thanks. The data related field is date/Timestamp. In Data View I had changed it to Date and the relationship showed as Date-Date. So I guess I am only changing the display as setting. I will try adding another column that is only Date and relate that to Calendar. I shouldn't need to add Year, Quarter and Month fields in my data - Corrrect? PowerBI will drill down off the Date Field
