Hello,
I have a slicer (single selection) where i filter customers. I want to show some information when the slicer value is changed. for example, I have customer #1 selected in the slicer, when I select customer #43 I want to show a pop up which can be closed on click. and do that again when an other customer is selected.
I can do the pop up trick with bookmarks, but I just cant figure how to show the bookmark when an other customer is selected.
Note : I dont want to put a button and show the bookmark when the button is pressed, I dont want to give that option to report user.
best regards,
I too would repeat the words of @lbendlin . This seems like a bad design. This is completely not sustainable. As many bookmarks present, you will have to do the same changes that many times. Not a good thing.
Instead you should try to drive the view with Customers as a Slicer and a Multi Row Card Visual or someother text rendering visual to show the details.
Regards,
That sounds like a bad UX. Instead have a text visual next to your slicer that shows the relevant information for the newly selected customer without an annoying popup.
this report will be used on mobile device (phone/tablet) so there isnt much space around to put an other text box. thank you very much for the replies.
