Hi @Vaish1 ,
If you're trying to enable the search bar in a slicer, here are a few things to check:
Make sure the field is of type Text
The search bar only shows up for slicers using text fields. If you're using numbers (like Year), try creating a calculated column that converts it to text.
Use the ellipsis (three dots)
Click on the slicer visual, then click the three dots (top-right corner of the slicer). You should see an option to enable “Search”.
Try the keyboard shortcut
If the ellipsis isn’t showing, just select the slicer and press Ctrl + F. This often brings up the search bar directly.
Check your Power BI version
Some UI changes in recent updates moved slicer settings around. Make sure you're on the latest version and check under: Format pane > Slicer settings > Options > Style
Let me know if any of these work for you!
If my response resolved your query, kindly mark it as the Accepted Solution to assist others. Additionally, I would be grateful for a 'Kudos' if you found my response helpful.
