formula for converting year & month from text to make comparison

Hi 

thanks for below update it worked but now i have another challange  in arranging month from Jan to Dec, I have already arranged table month column  month sequence not arranged

how can i fix this sequence

Hi @Arif270182,

You can try to change the data type of the Month column to "Whole Number". It must be Text for now.

In the right top corner of the visual, you will see ... symbol, click there and select sort by month . Alternatively, you can click on the Month name in the Fields tab, go to modeling -> sort by-> Select Month number.

Thank you so much now its working but now notice that month is showing in number and when i convert into column chart its showing in gap of two as shown in below

Thank you for your response i followed your instruction and i got this 

then i had it again continueous one its hows below the only problem in continueous one is that is coming in interval of 2 also month is coming in lie 2 4 6 8

 

Possible to find a way to fix it ?

Hi @Arif270182,

Please change the "Sort by" option in the three dots options after modifying the settings. Please refer to the snapshot below.
