Re: bookmarks (toggle switches) resetting filters

I have a dashboard setup with lots of sliders/filters (too many). To try to make it more user friendly, I’ve introduced a few toggle switches. To show certain products, such as New Promotional Products, Phased Out Products etc.

So the user might want to search for a products category, for example:

Category > Subcategory > New Promotional Product

When they click the toggle switch to select the New Promotion Product, the Category and Subcategory resets and goes back to the default settings.

Is there any way to use bookmarks (toggle switches) and stop them from effecting the current filtered data?

Hi @Anonymous,

Maybe you can use the Edit interactions to work on this. For more details, please check the online document.

Thanks for the advice.

I’ve gone into the ‘Edit Integrations’ settings, and it does work, but only for slicers. I’m using toggle switches what I created by using bookmarks.

I guess I could go back to using sliders, but it saves so much space using toggle switches, and there are only 2 options for the user “On” and “Off”. With sliders the end user has to choose from a dropdown list.

I guess I will have to sacrifice design over functionality, if I want to do what I want to do.
