$filter and $select in Web.Contents() Query

I'm trying to write a dynamic query that looks at a date parameter (DateParam).  The following works but the Service does not allow scheduled refresh because it's a dynamic query:

I'm trying to turn this into a Web.Contents query using the RelativePath so that scheduled refresh will work.  The below is what I did:

However, I keep getting the following error: "Expression.Error: We cannot convert a value of type Binary to type Table."

Your Web.Contents call likely returns JSON. You need to parse that into a table structure  before you can use it further.

@lbendlin How would I do that?
