is it possible?
Hi @Anonymous ,
Agree with danextian and FarhanJeelani.
In addition, it is recommended to use DAX Studio which can help you record and manage these formulas.
It is a powerful tool that allows you to view and export all your measure formulas.
Export Power BI DAX measures using DAX Studio - Max Wikström

That is not possible. Even with almost all other BI tools, what you see is what you get.
Hey there!
In Power BI, when you export data to Excel, it’s exported as values only, not as formulas, so any DAX calculations or measures won’t come through as Excel formulas. Power BI exports a static dataset without any underlying calculations.
However, if you need dynamic calculations in Excel, here are a couple of workarounds:
1. Power Query in Excel:
- You can use Power Query in Excel to connect directly to your Power BI dataset. This way, you can pull in the raw data and then set up your Excel formulas directly within the Excel file. This won’t give you the DAX formulas, but you can add Excel-based formulas that update with data refreshes.
2. Analyze in Excel:
- Use the Analyze in Excel feature in Power BI, which lets you connect to the Power BI dataset as a pivot table. You can then build your Excel formulas based on the pivot data, and they’ll update when you refresh.
These methods don’t bring DAX formulas into Excel, but they let you work dynamically with Power BI data. Let me know if that helps! 😊
Please mark this as a solution, if it helps you. Appreciate your Kudos
