Metric set data source connection in powerbi desktop.
By when can we expect Metric set as a new data source connection in powerbi desktop??
Hi AnushaP1 - Microsoft has been progressively rolling out Fabric Metrics as part of its Power BI ecosystem, allowing users to connect and track metrics directly within the platform. However, the integration of Fabric Metrics as a data source in Power BI Desktop itself is not yet available. Currently, metric tracking is implemented mainly through Power BI Service, where users can create connected metrics that update automatically based on data from existing Power BI reports.

And AnushaP1 , this feature was just launched in Q3 2024 and is still being deployed, which means that not everyone can use this feature yet.
