error when attempting to use power automate in desktop to trigger a cloud flow

hi, i tried to use this feature in desktop and got the following error.   Where does one start to exercise this feature successfully?  At the moment I believe i am still on a trial basis in the service for a pro license.  i was hoping to create a flow that would be triggered by a button in this report.  The idea was to land the/some data back on my local instance of sql server.  Not really sure what role the fields i am selecting have in a flow because i was just getting started.  i hit the contact support button but got the same error repeatedly in a separate browser tab .

it looks like i am much further along.  Too bad a simple email task fails but i believe i am using power automate successfully otherwise.  This error is probably due to the fact that i can only sign in with my work acct which has no real email.

ms is trying to help me on what appears to be shortcomings in the things (eg 2 flavors of data factory, power automate and some pl300 exam prep labs) i am alowed to try.  Long story but i accidentally got a Teams person from ms first who first talked me thru adding  global admin rights to my work acct's 365 properties using my personal id's creds.  It's possible this enabled my power automate experience.   I'll post back here after i confirm.  At this time i have a personal 365 subscription only (we think).  But in AAD, my work acct is asociated with my personal ms user id.  I use that work account for anything azure related.   As far as we know, my df and pl300 lab woes remain but he is finding out if someone is available or if we need to enter a support ticket for the remaining issues.

i went to my portal and didnt see anything that appeared to be a limitation in this respect for my tenant user principal name.   tried to report a problem from there and sort of got forced into reporting a different problem.  then i went to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/sign-up-sign-in to see if either the free or "for existing online users" options might open the door to using power automate from desktop.  but i got pretty much the same error page i showed initially in this post.
