Dear PowerBI community, can I embed my source data in the PowerBI .pbix file? I used the desktop version to connect Access tables and created a few reports. And I want to send this powerbi file to another disconnect computer. Can I embed all the source data as well?

Hi @mqzhang99,
As you connect to Access DB with Import mode, it extracts the data from source and pulls it into the Power BI Desktop. After you send the .pbix file to a different computer, users can still edit or create report based on the existing data model. But, any transformation in Query editor is not supported. To make it available, you have to send .pbix file with the data source Access together, and change the file path in M code under "Advanced Editor" in Query Editor mode.
