Hello,
We have clients who have many custom tables in their database. We are trying to give all of them Power BI Embedded access and allow them to build reports on their own custom tables, but we don't want to manually created a dataset for all of them.
Is there a way to programatically create a dataset via a script or something where it grabs all tables based on a certain prefix or something, e.g. It grabs all the tables with PBI_ as a prefix.
I am happy for any ideas for a solution, e.g. either scripting it into the Power BI Desktop or doing it programatically through the apis, but the dataset creation needs to be able to handle tables that are named differently in each database but can have a common prefix.
Thanks in advance for your help.
