I'm new to PowerBI
I have created a dashboard and the data contains information about departments in our company
what I need to accomplish is the following:
several users want to access this dashboard but not all users are allowed to see all data
suppose I have 3 departments D1, D2, and D3
and there are 3 users
what I want is that User1 sees data related to D1, User2 sees data related to D2, and User3 can see all data
please advise on how to accomplish this
There are a couple of ways to accomplish this. If your data source is SSAS Tabular with live access, you can use row-level security in your cube. Otherwise, you can try RLS for your dataset in Power BI online:
