Hi! I am having trouble figuring out how to create a slicer via measures (also to create a table that is comprised of measures, or of other Column Titles).
For example I want to be able to:
1. View a graph that is showing REVENUE by OPTION 1: date OPTION 2: city OPTION 3: product type
2. View a graph that is showing OPTION 1: revenue OPTION 2: page views OPTION 3: count of product sales by DATE.
I found articles where you can do this by creating a table comprised of these sectors, then turning this table into a slicer, but I am having trouble figuring out how to do that.
Hello! I am having trouble creating a chart with dynamic X & Y axes that alter the visualization when different slicer selections are chosen.
I want to be able to have the following charts:
1. A chart that shows REVENUE by OPTION 1: date OPTION 2: city OPTION 3: product type
2. A chart that shows OPTION 1: Revenue OPTION 2: costs OPTION 3: employee count by date
I know this can be done by creating a table comprised of:
1. measures of these 3 elements
2. these 3 column titles
then converting the table to a slicer, but I cannot figure out how to create this table in such a way that data actually links.
Hi @halexander1989,
Based on my test, it is not possible to meet your requirement currently. You can come up a new idea about that and add your comments there to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner.
Regards,
Frank
