Hi,
i am pulling data from AD and one of the columns ObjectGUID is showing as Binary in the Query editor. How do i convert that to original GUID value. I used Binary.ToText( ObjectGUID,1) function but it does not give me the exact value as the original ObjectGUID field in AD.
Is there a way to convert that ObjectGUID field in AD to text or something before i pull it into PBI desktop?
Guid.From(Binary.ToText([Binary],1))
@Anonymous,
What does the original GUID value look like and what is the GUID value do you get after using Binary.ToText() function ?
Power Query provides several Binary functions which you can use to extract Binary values. Please check if other Binary functions meets your requirement.
Regards,
Lydia
