columns vs variables

hi,

i want to know what will yeild better performance:

l have a calculated column in my database - item's discount.

now i have few calculated columns that use the result from the column "item's discount",

and i want to know if the performance will be better with the calculated column or if i insert

the item's discount as a variable to each one of my calculated columns.

thank you

@liran,

In your case, a calculated column might be more appropriate. You may also take a look at https://www.sqlbi.com/topics/optimization/.
