Hi,
I want to check if any value was present in previous month file and not in present file
can there be a measure or dax to compare present month file and previous month file
as in the below example ID 456 was present in april and may and in June it should show Not found
Expected result
month ID
April'23 456
May'23 456
June '23 Not found
Hi @kb177 ,
Please have a try.
Create a calculated column.
MonthYear = FORMAT([Date], "MMM'YY")
`Then create 2 measures.
CurrentMonthCount = DISTINCTCOUNT('Table'[ID])
PreviousMonthCount = CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT('Table'[ID]), DATEADD('Table'[Date], -1, MONTH))
Finally, create a measure that checks if any IDs were present in the previous month but not in the current month.
NotFound = IF(PreviousMonthCount - CurrentMonthCount > 0, "Not found", BLANK())
