changed field name causing visual to not display

I have a field in my model called "Current Fee Type".  I changed it to "Fee Type", and now some (not all) of my visuals can't display.  Below is the error message that I see on all affected visuals:

MdxScript(Model) (402, 14) Column '<pii>Current Fee Type</pii>' in table '<pii>Dimension Project</pii>' cannot be found or may not be used in this expression.

This is really strange.  This field is not used in any expression in DAX.  It's simply a field that appears in the filter pane on all pages.  And, not every visual is returning an error; only some of them return the error.  It seems to be random.  How can I resolve this?  If it matters, my reports use a live connection to a dataset in the service.  That dataset holds this field.  This field is in a query that is written in SQL (not M).  I simply re-labeled the field in SQL.

I resolved my problem.  It turns out that the column is being used in a few measures.  It wasn't immediately obvious as I use measure branching a lot (i.e., a measure that uses a measure that uses a measure...).  The measure used in the visuals didn't contain it.  But, a measure that those measures reference contains it.
