Hi there,
I'm having some trouble getting this chart to work.
I have a bunch of dates (beginning of month)
2018-07-01
2018-08-01
2018-09-01
2018-10-01
2018-11-01
2018-12-01
I want to be able to make projects based on some numbers
a starting value (savings)
1st what if parameter (income)
2nd what if parameter (expenses)
Basically, I want to start with the starting value (savings).
And then for each month, add the income (what if parameter), and take away expenses (what if parameter)
For those that are more visual, ive included an example of what I'm trying to do below.
Has anyone got any ideas on how to make this work?

Hi @dglawson,
Based on my test, you can refer to below steps:
1.I have entered some sample data like the picture below and add three ‘what if’ parameters.
Parameters:
Monthly Expense = GENERATESERIES(0, 530, 1)
Monthly Income = GENERATESERIES(0, 500, 1)
Starting values = GENERATESERIES(0, 4000, 1)
2.Add an index column in query editor and apply it.
3.Create a calculated column and you can see the correct result.
Column = [Parameter Value]+[Index]*([Monthly Income Value]-[Monthly Expense Value])
You can also download the PBIX file to have a view.
