I'm building a waterfall chart using the simple waterfall visual and am receiving a request from stakeholders to show two individual values as 0 in the display but also contribute to the total value. is this possible in PowerBI? The stakeholders are firmly committed to this request but as far as I can see this is not possible.
In the screenshot below, they want the two circled values to always show as "0", with now fille, but the total value in blue to remain at the 142.57 number. Is this at all possible using dax in the measures for the visual or through formatting?

Unfortunately, unlike tables, this graph's total bar is generated from values of other bars and not our formula.
So we can't manipulate it with Dax, The result is that we can change the values of categories, but it will always change the total bar as well:
