Hi Folks,
I have orders data in which there are individual columns (dimensions) for each status i.e. "Sold-To", "Ship-To", "Credit-Block" the domain value in these columns are "1" (Yes) and "0" (No), in the cards i am showing count of only 1s which mean status which require attention. (Refer the image below). Now the client wants me to visualize this in some different way. Since these are individual columns not just 2 i am struggling to know how should i best visualize ? Please help !

I think you shall at first unpivot those columns, then things would be much easier. If this is not your case, could you post some sample data?
@Eric_Zhang if i unpivot these columns then wouldnt data be out of shape ?
I dont see how to attached the file here...there is no option here
Hey,
to visualize a dataset that has multiple binary dimensions i often use the
Infographic Designer custom visual available from the Office store, here this visual is referenced
https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Name-of-the-visual/m-p/256765#M114425
you can also try the
Dot Plot by MAQ Software
also available from the Office store

In my opinion, the unpivotted data is more normalized, so I'm not getting what you mean "out of shape" here.
As to uploading a pbix file, you can upload it to Onedrive/GoogleDrive and share the download link. Do remember to mask sensitive data before uploading.
@Eric_Zhang i cannot share the .pbix i was trying to share the excel raw data with you.. What meant by "Out of shape" was that in the screenshot you shared there were 3 rows and 4 column which when you unpivoted became 9 ROWS and 3 columns. There are other measures and dimensions available in the data set, would that not affect the aggregation of measures ? How can i share the excel raw data file ?

Without seeing the whole picture, I don't know how much the unpivoted table is out of shape. In my opinion, the unpivoted data is more normalized and other measures and dimension could also rely on the unpivoted data.
@Eric_Zhang here is the link to the file... The data will look a weired because i have change it to mask the original data..

I also tried to unpivot the columns however it increased the number of rows e.g. if there were 100 , now there are 1300 because i unpivoted 13 columns. Also the aggregations in the reports were also increased.
Hey,
you have to upload your Excel file to onedrive or dropbox and then post the link to this file.

Tom
