Visualization for Datetime data points

Hi,

I need to create a time-intelligent visualization on a few sensor loudnesses.

I've created a data model with a basic fact table, connected to dimTime and dimDate. Since sensors are recorded with datetime datestamp, I have made two dimensions for date and time so that I can have them on Scatter chart.

The problem is that when I use them, I get this error:

The idea is to have a scatter plot for each series (sensors), where the X axis is DateTime and the Y axis is loudness(without any aggregation).

Thanks,

Hi @NimaM

what measure/column do you have in the Scatter Chart Visual?

it's loudness that sensors register.

@NimaM , As of now scatter can have categorical values on one axis. You can try Charticulator. But I heard, it is not more supported

Ok, thanks. So if not Scatter plot, what if I just want to have a simple graph, X access to be Year/Month/Day/hr/mm/ss (essentially each data point) and the Y to be Loudness?
