Hi there,
Having a problem with a data table visualization.
I recently appended two queries which I applied to the data model. In transforming the data everything looked fine. I brought in two new fields with "yes", "no" or blank responses. Again, everything looked good.
However, when I attempt to filter on the table by "yes" or "no", no data is displayed -- it is only displayed if I select blank.
What's weird is that there are no filters being applied to the table and the filters itself indicate there are many responses for both "yes" and "no". I tried using a slicer which also does not work even though I double checked and they are indeed pulling from the same data.
Appreciate any help!
Thanks.
Hi @Anonymous,
Could you please check whether there are spaces before and after the text yes and no? How did you filter the data? Use slicer, visual-level filter or other? Also please provide some sample data (include new added 2 fields) as suggested as @az38 in order to find the cause. Thank you.
Best Regards
Rena
Sure no problem -- but how do I attach a file?
Hi @Anonymous ,
You can upload the related files to OneDrive for Business, then share the link with us. Thank you.

Ah, of course. Here you go!
You'll probably need to request permission.
I got this data by publishing the report and then exporting the underlying data. As you can see, it says no filters had been applied and the fields in question (columns D & E) clearly contain data yet when using a slicer in the report only blanks are displayed; selecting "yes" or "no" produces an empty table.
Appreciate the help again, thanks.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Sorry, I can't open the shared file link due to lack of permission...
Could you please just upload it to OneDrive for Business and share the link with us as refer in my previous post? You can also paste some data in the form of table in post directly. Thank you.

Ah yeah looks like my org does not have external sharing enabled. Very cool stuff!
Let's try the below if you think it's worth a shot. The two fields in question are bolded just FYI. Thanks again!
| Clicks | Impressions | CTR | No product feedback? | No segment feedback? | Creative name | Month | Traffice source | Ad labels | Ad name | Lexi? | UTD? | Emmi? | Medi? | Price Rx? | CML |

Haha oh wait this is garbage because I kept exceeding the 20,000 character limit.
Didn't realize I delected all but three rows.
Nearly useless huh?
@Anonymous
could you provide a data sample?
Also, pay attention - in Power Query you could see a preview of data and not the all data (press Refresh preview to make sure the data is up to date)
