Visual advice? I have data yet unsure the best way to represent it

PrivateAnalytic_0-1664392784366.png

Hello everyone! I have data which displays the MoM % changes as well as Total Miles Ran of folks using a fitness app. What would be the BEST way to visually represent this information in visuals?

Hi @PrivateAnalytic , I would say there is no BEST way, but many good ways to approach this based on your particular needs.

https://powerbi.tips/2016/07/measures-month-to-month-percent-change/ shows a good example of visualising month by month variance.

Another approach could be to show the Total miles run and MOM% change together in a table that utilises conditionally formatting to highlight strong performers/ months etc. https://hevodata.com/learn/power-bi-conditional-formatting/ delves deeply into this topic.

If this answer solves your problem please mark it as a solution!
