Hello,
I have date & some index values which I would like to show in "LINE CHART" .
But when I add index values to values field it is summing up the values- I have tried dont summarize option in Modelling tab but still the same.
How can I show the values as it is in the line gragh???
@dia612 , No any value other than axis will be summarized.
Can you share sample data and sample output in table format?
Hello @amitchandak,
Thank you for replying.
I have data simlar to this
I have to forecast future values based on these which i have done
Now i have to plot them in line chart by showing the values as it is and also differentiating the forecasted values like with dotted line or diff bg
something similar to this
Is there any sol in power bi for this???
@dia612 , if you have used power BI forecast it will show like this. If not. Have forecast value as separate measures. make sure they are null till actual is available. You will get a line in a different color, but you will not get an area.

I have the forecasted values , I just need them to shown without summing up in line chart,
I mean values exactly as in the table
Is that possible at all in Power BI?
hi @dia612
Every visuals but the table visual need to be aggregated for Value in power bi,
for your case, if there are multiple value in the same date, you don't want them summarize up in line chart, but how do them show in the line chart?
and if you want to them do not summarize up in line chart, the only is add a group/category column for this index data, then drag them into Legend of visual.
Regards,
Lin
