Using slicer to filter line chart is not working
I am using PowerBI Desktop Free version and working on a single data table (that is all). The picture shows the data model.
Data Model
I created a page level filter for only years 2019 and 2020. Then I created a line chart and also a small multiples line chart. Below is the screen shot of the charts and teh page filter.
Then I added a slicer with the same date field used in the line charts. However, when I adjust the slicer (pull it), the graphs disappear and error message shows up. Below is the screenshot. When I pull back the slicer to the full range, the charts come up. But if I adjust the slicer by even a single date, the problem appears. I am not understanding what is the problem. All the data, fields are from the same table. Appreciate if anyone can offer some inputs.

vsrinivas , please share the error. Using see details.
I doubt you are using the time intelligence function without a date table or having a bi-directional Join with date table

amitchandak. I am using just one table. Please see the screenshot of my model. I did not create a seperate date table. When I am using the same date field from the same table for the line chart and the slicer, why is it necessary to create a date table (Note that, the line chart gets created using the date field in the table). By the way , the link, https://amitchandak.medium.com/power-bi-5-key-points-to-make-time-intelligence-successful-bd52912a5b... is not complete and not opening a valid page.
