I have a shape that has conditional formatting for the fill colour based off a status (Red, yellow, green). This works as expected. I'd like to be able to allow users to hover over the shape and see a tooltip pop up that explains why the status is what it is. I have ToolTip that displays this info as expected. However, I cannot figure out how to enable the ToolTip to be displayed when I hover. Do I need to make this a visual instead of a shape?
Solved! Go to Solution.
first, you need to to set the page as : allow as tooltip. as on
next ,
you go to the visual you want and add the tooltip to :
now for shape, i dont think you can add a tooltip for it .
but what you can do , is add a tooltip like this for shapes :
you can use some dax code for the tooltip to be dynamic .
let me know if that works for you .
