Using Power Bi Apps and SharePoint Modern Pages to Share Model from SSAS Tabular and Not Working

    Hi Anonymous,

     

    Not clear about how you grant permissions to your organization members on SharePoint site. Embedding a report in SharePoint Online does not automatically give users permission to view the report. The permissions to view the report are set within the Power BI service. 

     

    To ensure your users have access, either place the reports you’re embedding in SharePoint Online into an App Workspace or share them with all the right people through dashboard. For more details, please see this document: Embed with report web part in SharePoint Online

     

    By the way, all viewers should have a Power BI Pro license. If your users don’t have a Pro license, they’ll be directed to PowerBI.com where they can enroll or start a Pro trial. Alternatively, you would have to assign the app workspace to a Power BI Premium capacity and add the free users to the list of members.
