Using Power Bi Apps and SharePoint Modern Pages to Share Model from SSAS Tabular and Not Working
Hi everyone. I have a data model in SSAS Tabular that has a working gateway to Power Bi. I want to be able to share this information using SharePoint so that a larger group within my organization can access the data. I have created a group, and an App in PowerBi within my organization. I was successful in getting a link to embed to SharePoint. However, when I use modern pages in SharePoint and add the link, only administrators in the group can see the dashboard in SharePoint. I do want to give every person in my organization access, and I can add an AD group, however I do not want the entire organization to get an email alerting them of the new group. This added layer of security within SharePoint only happens with data models connected via a gateway to SSAS Tabular. Other models from different data sources do not have this additional layer of security in SharePoint. Any thoughts on what others have done to not have to email the entire company but yet be able to share the information widely from Tabular to Power Bi and finally to SharePoint? Thanks in advance!

Not clear about how you grant permissions to your organization members on SharePoint site. Embedding a report in SharePoint Online does not automatically give users permission to view the report. The permissions to view the report are set within the Power BI service.
To ensure your users have access, either place the reports you’re embedding in SharePoint Online into an App Workspace or share them with all the right people through dashboard. For more details, please see this document: Embed with report web part in SharePoint Online
By the way, all viewers should have a Power BI Pro license. If your users don’t have a Pro license, they’ll be directed to PowerBI.com where they can enroll or start a Pro trial. Alternatively, you would have to assign the app workspace to a Power BI Premium capacity and add the free users to the list of members.
