Using Microsoft To Do Tasks

Hello, 

I want to use Microsoft To Do task list for creating Power BI report like how many tasks there are, how many is closed or open, responsible etc. 

 

It is possible to use Microsoft To Do data's for it.

Hi @akarca ,

 

You might be able to do something with Power Automate where you can retrieve the tasks and insert them into a list for consumption. However it may not change historical data, so you will need to have something in there that returns the most recent task status etc.

If you use ToDo with an business exchange account, then you can use the connector for Microsoft Exchange Online to get your tasks: Microsoft Exchange Online Power Query Data Connector - Power Query | Microsoft Learn

Do you know of any way to access the created on and/or modified on fields? the only dates that seem to get pulled in are the Start, reminder, and due dates. I'm looking to build a visual that will chart the task backlog month over month. I'm curious if there's a way to use the ID and folderpath to relate it to another data source
