Unique Rows in Query Editor No Longer Unique When Loaded

I'm usin Text.PadEnd to add a number of spaces after text to make rows unique. For example, I have the word dog in 3 rows. I'm using Text.PadEnd to add 1, 2, 3 spaces to the end of the word dog. In Query Editor it says these rows are unique and I can confirm by hitting remove/keep duplicates and my rows are not affected.

When I load this data into my model, these rows are no longer unique. It returns as just "dog" with no spaces after.

Is there something I'm not considering or doing wrong?

@PowerUser123 ,

Text.PadEnd([Column], 3, " ")

Will make sure it is only three letters. So I doubt it will add any space

for uniqueness you should consider - Power Query- Index Column: https://youtu.be/NS4esnCDqVw

@amitchandak I have a column that has values 1,2,3. I'm adding those values to the original length of the word.

My Text.PadEnd is working in Query Editor. I can validate because remove duplicates doesn't do anything signifying my rows are unique. When I load the data into the model they are no longer unique.

An Index column wouldn't really work. I want the rows to appear the same, but I know they're not due to the padded spaces. If I add a period "." instead it recognizes as unique. When I do the same with a space, the data in the data model is longer recognized as unique.
