Unique Rows in Query Editor No Longer Unique When Loaded
Text.PadEnd([Column], 3, " ")
Will make sure it is only three letters. So I doubt it will add any space
Power Query- Text.PadStart and Text.PadEnd: https://youtu.be/SNAB6XZ8q74
for uniqueness you should consider - Power Query- Index Column: https://youtu.be/NS4esnCDqVw

amitchandak I have a column that has values 1,2,3. I'm adding those values to the original length of the word.
My Text.PadEnd is working in Query Editor. I can validate because remove duplicates doesn't do anything signifying my rows are unique. When I load the data into the model they are no longer unique.
An Index column wouldn't really work. I want the rows to appear the same, but I know they're not due to the padded spaces. If I add a period "." instead it recognizes as unique. When I do the same with a space, the data in the data model is longer recognized as unique.
