How to view the SQL queries issued from Power BI Desktop to the data source?

If you entered your own SQL in the query, you can go to the diagram view, edit queries, click the query and then click the gear icon in the Source step.
Otherwise, I would suggest SQL Profiler or similar tool to watch incoming queries.
