Hi there,
This is probably a stupid question, but I'm quite new to Power BI, so my apologies in advance.
I've been working with the online Power BI Service for a while. Uploaded data to it, made reports and dashboards. So I downloaded Power BI Desktop with the assumption it can be used to work with that data as well, instead of via the browser.
However, I can't seem to find how to get to that data. All the help files start with "create something new and publish!", but I already have something, and of course I don't want to redo it.
Can somebody explain to me in short how these two compare? With other Office 365 applications I can use the online and local versions with online data stored in OneDrive for example. Is Power BI different compared to those?
Thanks in advance,
Michel

At this time the publishing of reports is only one way. Desktop -> Site
There is no current functionality to save/copy/pull down reports or dashboards from the site. Hoping to see something like this soon as well.
