Hello community,
I am unable to access Q&A neither with the double click on the canvas nor with a ctrl+E shortcut. But able to use it from the insert tab in the menu bar.
Could someone please advise if I have to change any setting to use those shortcuts instead of inserting it from insert tab?
Or was the functionality been removed in the latest update?
I have toggled on the preview features related to Q&A but no use.

Yeah. My bad. It is working but the double click was not working.

As you mentioned earlier, turn off “On-Object interaction”. May be since this feature is in preview, creating Q&A visual by double-clicking is not supported.

Yeah. I felt the same. I will have to turn-off the preview feature to access Q&A on double click. But, currently I do not have use with Q&A. On-object interaction is something I would want to have always which is pretty helpful for me.
I hope someone from microsoft to please take a note of this issue.

If you're using your work account and don't have access to the Power BI Admin Portal, you'll need to contact someone in your organization with the necessary permissions, such as an IT professional or a systems administrator.
If you're using a free personal account (not a Pro license), the Q&A feature isn't available.
Therefore, to use the Q&A feature, you would need to upgrade to a Pro license

Check these setting under Load data
you can clear cache if you want so that previous history will not be remain.
you can simply click on Restore Default. this would solve your problem.
You you can check mark this setting also under current file.

You can simply install the latest Power BI desktop version and unistall the previous version. This might resolved you issue!

Just found the issue. The On-Object interaction preview feature has led to the issue. I was able to retrive the Q&A on double click after turning down that preview feature. But, I don't know why ctrl+E is not working.
