I would like to create a new shape map defining the US Census Bureau's Geographic Regions & Divisions based on the US:states shape map currently in review for PowerBI Desktop.
Would someone kindly let me know how I can obtain a copy of the .JSON file for the built-in US:states map to use as a starting point?

Nevermind... I found examples I could work with on github:
For US maps: https://github.com/d3/d3/wiki/gallery/#maps
For UK maps: http://martinjc.github.io/UK-GeoJSON/
I'm still looking for a US States .json file map not with census data... can anyone help? I'm not familiar with .json files at all but am trying to create a layered filled choropleth map and the US states map used in the Power BI tutorial video -- https://uat.gramener.com/static/c3/US_adm1.json -- appears a little low quality. I don't like the way it shows Michigan either. Does anyone know where I can find a higher quality .json file map for free?
