Hello,
So I followed this tutorial to make a button in the Report that will update the dataset. This works great but at the moment it opens up a new tab and displays a response string from the API wrapper I'm using to make the PowerBi refresh call. Is there a way to either make the link be headless or perhaps open in a new tab but not take focus away from the report?
Hi @ccowin
Kindly check below blogs whether helps:

and the threads:
Unfortunately not, still produces the new tab. Thanks though, I guess it can't be done.
Power BI does not allow you to configure the target behavior of a web URL call.
How sure are you that wrapapi.com is benign?
