Two visuals filtered by separate date slicers

I have two visuals each containing data from the same query. I have a date slicer(based on different date columns) for each of the visuals. Unfortunately the date slicers are slicing both visuals not just the one I have intended them to slice. I've used the Format/ Edit interactions to try to isolate the visuals to the intended date slicer but that is not working. What can I do to isloate the visual to the intended date column for the slicer?

Hey @Anonymous ,

I'm pretty sure it's working.

1. Activate the "Edit interaction" feature

2. Select the first slicer and change the second visual to "no interaction"

3. Select the second slicer and change the second visual to "no interaction"

4. Deactivate the "Edit interaction" feature.

It's important that you can select the interaction for each visual and slicer on their own.

Let me know if it works.

If you need any help please let me know.
If I answered your question I would be happy if you could mark my post as a solution ✔️ and give it a thumbs up 👍
