Screenshot of data I'm working with:
I'm trying to create a filter to enable filtering of "uninteresting" data - either the sparkline is flat, or the max/min points along the line are within a tolerance of 5%. So, I can create a measure that returns the filter options I want - "flat", "within tolerance", "outside tolerance" - see column labeled "test_z". Unfortunately, Power BI does not allow using a measure as a filter. I then created a new column ("line_filter") with a similar calculation to the one in the measure, but you can see the DAX statement always returns "outside tolerance".
