Track usage frequency

Hi there,

I would like to track the frequency of usage via PowerBI.

I have a dump file that has the date of which users created a certain configuration every week. e.g.

Country -- Product -- User --- Week no. which the product was created

Australia -- E1 -- Steve --- 39

China -- P1 -- Tracy -- 22

etc.

In Excel, I can use the above data to create pivot table showing weekly tracking of which user created which product.

Moving to PowerBI, how can I make it to count the frequency of the product being created weekly? It takes the week no. as numeric and sums them in PowerBI.

Thank you.

BR, Tze

Hi @Tze,

In your scenario, you can simply change Default Summarization to Don't summarize for "Week no" column under Modeling tab, then you should be able to show the frequency of the product being created weekly on the report. Smiley Happy

Hi @Tze,

What's your data source(Excel files or SQL DB, or others)?

In addition, you need to firstly select the WeekNo column in FIELDS List to be able to change Default Summarization to Don't summarize for "Week no" column under Modeling tab. Smiley Happy

Thanks, I got it now. Smiley Happy
