Hi,
You may download my PBI file from here.
Hope this helps.
@Ashish_Mathur I am looking at it now and works fine but I want to understand what's happening. Your measure "Total" is sum of values in ID column but how does it know to sum it by month?
Hi,
Since the month field has also been dragged to the visual, the measure considers that as a filter condition.
thank you @Ashish_Mathur . I have the last question...is it possible to show a chart like this. sorry bad drawing 😞
I cannot understand what tiy want in those columns
Hi @Ashish_Mathur I have two questions...
Hi,
You can create a 2 columns table with Fruits in column 1 and Categories in column 2. Create a relationship between the tables and now drag Categories to your visual from the new table
I figured it out regarding categories. I see what you mean now. I created the slicer using the calendar table I made. I am having some trouble sorting it so it shows YYYY-MM in sorted order. Below is my slicer and table I use for it
Please read up on "Sort by column" in the Data Model.
You mean like this?
How can I create a table whose first column has unique values for fruits and the second column has only two values ("fruits", and "vegetables"). The first column has 14 rows while the second would have only two.
do you think you can try if I send you the file?
In power BI top 5 works and the top 4 works but as soon as I hit the top 2 and top 1 it doesn't show correctly
I did this in pivot. I showed top 3 and it showed exactly as in Power BI but I then had to sort based on count id from largest to smallest and then it showed up properly. I have to figure this out now in my Power BI matrix visual.
