Tooltip

I have a custom tooltip created for site name in tables, but hovering the column graph it shows entire list of site rather than respective sites which are filtered in slicer.

Hi @PRAVINV ,
Here is an example i have worked upon. I believe you are seeing the whole list but u want to see only the specefic values related to the field.

Example tool tip page:

Custome Visual page

Here is how you can do it.
1) Open you tooltips page and keep all filters "ON".

This should give you you desired results of viewing only the items you are hovering over.

@PRAVINV Make sure that the fields used in the tooltip are correctly set to reflect the filtered data. This means that the tooltip should be using the same data context as the visual that is being filtered by the slicer

If you are using Power BI, consider using report page tooltips. Report page tooltips allow you to create a separate report page that serves as a tooltip. This page can have visuals that are filtered based on the context of the data point being hovered over. To do this:

Create a new report page and design the tooltip layout.
Set the page size to Tooltip under Page Information.
Add visuals to this page that will display the filtered data.
Go to the visual where you want to apply the tooltip, and in the Tooltip section of the visual's formatting pane, set the Tooltip type to Report page and select the tooltip page you created.

Ensure that the interactions between the slicer and the visual are set correctly. In Power BI, you can edit interactions by selecting the slicer, then clicking on the "Edit interactions" button in the Format tab. Make sure that the visual is being filtered by the slicer.

Use dynamic titles and measures in your tooltip to reflect the filtered data. This can be done by creating measures that dynamically change based on the slicer selection and using these measures in your tooltip.

Here is an example of how you might create a dynamic measure in Power BI:

DAX
SelectedSites =
CONCATENATEX(
VALUES('Table'[SiteName]),
'Table'[SiteName],
", "
)
