Toggle Visuals Using Buttons, but Without Bookmarks

I would like to toggle visuals using buttons and I have seen that bookmarks can be used for this. However, the downside is that other sections of visuals on the same report page are getting resetted then. For example, in section A I have visuals related to the sales numbers and can switch between bar chart and line chart. In section B I have the same but related to quantity of sold units. I want to toggle between bar chart and line chart in section A, but not affecting section B by clicking on the button. In other words I want to use toggles, but for each section specifically.

Is there a solution for this?

Hi @TimmK  Without looking at your PBI file or some image it might be difficult to address. For sure as @lbendlin  suggested - there is not toggle visual conditionlly option as of now. But I still believe (based on your requirement) that you can manage it with Bookmark. What you need to look at is ==> "Selected Visuals" Options for Bookmark instead of "All Visual". With that you can always control what you want to toggle and which all visuals in your PBI will remain unaffected. Just right click and select option appropriately...

Ah, thank you greatly for this answer. 🙂 I think that is exactly what I need, using the "Selected Visuals" option which I was not aware of.

You cannot currently toggle visual styles conditionally. If this is important to you please consider voting for an existing idea or raising a new one at https://ideas.fabric.microsoft.com/?forum=2d80fd4a-16cb-4189-896b-e0dac5e08b41
