Text Filter Visual - new version not supported for large datasets?
Hello,
I created a report a few years ago and downloaded the Text Filter visual for the user to be able to filter the data by keywords entered. It no longer appears to be working. I see the info icon indicating that it has "too many values..." and to "filter the data" but I would like for the user to be able to search by text phrases or keywords. I've seen in the latest comment that this visual no longer seems to work well with larger tables or columns with larger text strings; is there any kind of work-around?

As you said, this visual no longer seems to work well with larger tables or columns with larger text strings.
I think creating a parameter can also filter the relevant information, but I'm not sure if you're happy with that approach.
Like this:
I want to find contents include "A", so I create a parameter
so that I can filter in column
