Teams Callqueue data, how to get the data
Hi,
i want to get Teams Call Queue statistical data. I have a template named Teams Auto Attendant & Call Queue Historical Reports V3.2.2.pbit. But when i want to generate reports with this template, there is no data?
How can i efficiently use this template to get reports of a Call Queue?
Thanks
Wim

Hi wim1981 ,
This is a very common situation with that specific template. Since you are opening a .pbit (Power BI Template) file, it is completely empty by design until it successfully connects to your tenant's data stream.
For the Teams Auto Attendant & Call Queue (V3.x) reports to work, simply opening the file isn't enough. You need to ensure three specific prerequisites are met on your machine and tenant.
1. The Custom Connector (Crucial Step) This report relies on a specialized connector called MicrosoftCallQuality.mez. It does not come built-in with Power BI Desktop.
Check: Go to your Documents\Power BI Desktop\Custom Connectors folder.
Action: If that folder is empty or doesn't exist, you need to download the connector from the Microsoft Download Center (where you got the template) and place the .mez file there.
Restart: After placing the file, restart Power BI Desktop. You might need to enable "Allow any extension to load without validation" in File > Options > Security > Data Extensions.
2. The Permissions Even with the connector, your user account needs specific permissions to pull this data. You typically need to be assigned one of these roles in M365:
Teams Communications Support Specialist
Teams Communications Support Engineer
Global Reader (sometimes insufficient for granular data)
3. Data Latency If you just set up the Call Queues today, note that CQD data usually has a slight delay (24-48 hours) before it populates in the historical reports.
Summary: Make sure the .mez file is in your Documents folder and that you are logged in with a user who has Teams Admin rights. When you open the template again, it should ask you to sign in and then start loading the data.
Hope this gets your data flowing!

Sounds good wim1981 !
Take your time to go through the steps. The missing .mez file is almost always the culprit in this scenario, so I am confident that will get you connected.
Let us know how it goes once you test it!

Hi,
yes. The situation is now that i get the data, but the program is so slow that there are no graphs displaying or generating. I think its because my pc is nog strong enough.
