Hello,
I need a help. I have two button slicer. My goal is to make switch visual depending on button is selected. For example,
I select Sale1, then first visual is showing.
If I select Sale2, then second visual is showed up.
I selected sale2 and I see second visual.
When press sale1, then
I don't see first visua. These visual overlap. How fix this that I could switch visuals. According that slicer?

Hi @Analitika
Are you trying to get an output similar to this ? Or your issue is more complex than this ?
I have attached the sample file for your reference
And if you want an actual slicer to be used instead of a bookmarks navigator — for example, when you also want the data to be filtered — you can use two invisible buttons placed on top of each slicer selection. However, make sure the user clicks the data check mark in the bookmarks , because this time the data also needs to be changed.
I have attached the sample file for that scenario as well.

Hi @Analitika ,
You're running into a common issue where visuals overlap because a slicer filters data but doesn't control which objects are visible. The best way to create a toggle between visuals is to use Bookmarks in combination with the Selection Pane. To get started, go to the View tab in the Power BI ribbon and make sure you've checked the boxes to open both the Selection Pane and the Bookmarks Pane.
First, place your two visuals directly on top of each other in the exact same spot on the canvas. Then, use the Selection Pane to set up your first view. Find your "Sale2" chart in the list and click the eye icon next to it to hide it, ensuring only your "Sale1" chart is visible. With this view set, go to the Bookmarks Pane and click Add. A new bookmark will appear. It's very important to click the three dots (...) next to this new bookmark, rename it to something like "Show Sale1", and uncheck the "Data" option. This step ensures the bookmark only controls the visual's visibility and doesn't interfere with your data filters.
Next, you'll create the second bookmark for the other view. In the Selection Pane, reverse the visibility: hide the "Sale1" chart and show the "Sale2" chart. Once only the second chart is visible, go to the Bookmarks Pane again and click Add. Rename this second bookmark to "Show Sale2" and, just like before, make sure to click the three dots and uncheck the "Data" option.
Finally, you can link these bookmarks to buttons to create an interactive switch. It's best to delete the original slicer you were using. Go to the Insert tab and add two Blank buttons. Select the first button, and in the Format pane, turn on the Action toggle. Set the Type to Bookmark and choose your "Show Sale1" bookmark from the dropdown. You can also add text to the button, like "Sale1", under the Style options. Repeat this process for the second button, but this time, link its Action to the "Show Sale2" bookmark and label it "Sale2". Now, when you click these buttons, they will activate the corresponding bookmarks, showing one visual while hiding the other.
Best regards,
Yes I have done this before but my goal is use slicer in order to switch visuals. Is it possible?
