Switch data between different tables

Hii, 

 I have two different tables in a single data source namely;  tb_main & tb_Archive. All the data is in the tb_main table but when the data gets 3 years old, we move it to the tb_Archive table. Now I want to add these two tables in a slicer and switch data between the two.
