Excel file updates not shown in Power BI

Hi all!

 

I have uploaded a local Excel file to Power BI, but when I edit the excel file the changes won't show in Power BI.

 

One edit I've done is to changed a column of contry names from all uppercase with the formula =PROPER(x,x). Now I can see in Excel that the countries is with only the first letter in uppercase, just as i want it to. When i refresh the file in Power BI, all the contries are still all uppercase. 

 

What am I missing?

    hans3400 , refresh data should load the data again.

     

    In File -> Options & Settings ->Options -=> Data Load -> Clear Cache , refresh and try again

      It does not work, unfortunatly. In Power BI I have changed the name of the table to something else. Can that have an effect?

      I've just restarted Power BI and now it works!
