Suppressing Values in Matrix Visual

Hello,

I am trying to apply a filter to a matrix visual that'll allow me to hide values if the employee count for a department on a date is equal to 1. We want to suppress the values that are 1 to mask individual employees. In the example image below, the values for Dept 1 - Jan 24, Dept 4 - Jan 24, and Dept 4 - March 24, should be blank.

I've tried creating a measure that would implement this behavior but it will only work if the visual is filtered for a single date.

Active Emp Count Show/Hide = CALCULATE(SUM('Employee Table'[Count]),REMOVEFILTERS('Employee Table'[Employee Type]))
Show/Hide Expression = IF([Active Emp Count Show/Hide]=1,0,1)

Sample data below.

Business Number,Employee Type,Count,Date,Department

BU 1A1January 2024Dept 1
BU 1B3January 2024Dept 2
BU 1C2January 2024Dept 2
BU 2A2January 2024Dept 3
BU 2B5January 2024Dept 3
BU 2C1January 2024Dept 4
BU 1A2February 2024Dept 1
BU 1B4February 2024Dept 2
BU 1C2February 2024Dept 2
BU 2A3February 2024Dept 3
BU 2B3February 2024Dept 3
BU 2C2February 2024Dept 4
BU 1A2March 2024Dept 1
BU 1B4March 2024Dept 2
BU 1C2March 2024Dept 2
BU 2A3March 2024Dept 3
BU 2B3March 2024Dept 3
BU 2C1March 2024Dept 4

Any help is appreciated!

@flomi , Create a measure first using

Employee Count = SUM('Employee Table'[Count])

Show/Hide Employee Count =
IF(
    [Employee Count] = 1,
    BLANK(),
    [Employee Count]
)

Use the Show/Hide Employee Count measure in your matrix visual instead of the original employee count. This measure will display the employee count only if it is not equal to 1, effectively hiding the values where the count is 1.

Did I answer your question? Mark my post as a solution! And Kudos are appreciated

Hi Bhanu,

Thanks for the reply! I implemented your solution in the image below and it is not quite working as expected. The one employee in Department 1 is showing blank as expected, but in Department 4, there are two employees so it is ok to show the data for them. I'd like the value to be blank if there is only one employee total in the department on that date.
