Hi all,
1. I would like to ask the possibility of having 2 sets of data (income group and population), superimposing each other represented by colors and patterns respectively in a single filled-map.
2. Additionally, it is possible to have locations with coordinates represented by the bubble plot being added on top of the visualization above? (either filled map or as background map)
I am kind of new to PowerBI, I tried using ArcGis map, but they don't provide a reference layer of Malaysia with data I need, (probably due to free users). Besides, I unable to discover any means of superimposing 2 data sets as a reference layer/ background map.
Below was a brief idea of end results I would like to achieve.
Could you help me with this problem, please?
Thank you.

Hi @Anonymous
How about appending 2 sets of data into 1?As in a map visual ,the value field should come from 1 dataset, but even so,superimposing the same area is impossible currently,it can only show 2 areas even though they have same area inside, but the overlapping part wont be highlighted, letting alone for filling in patterns.
I have searched many visuals in market, but feel so sorry that I cant find one suitable for you...
Best Regards,
Kelly
Hi @Anonymous ,
Based on my test, adding 2 sets of data is not supported in ArcGis map.You can come up with a new idea and add your comments there to make this feature coming sooner.

Thanks, Kelly @v-kelly-msft
So if 2 sets of data are not supported in ArcGis map, do we have any visualization that can achieve the results, of combining coordinated map-points and filled-map areas by any means?
Thank you for your help and reply.

Hi Kelly, @v-kelly-msft ,
Thanks for your help, I understand the limitations now, I will try some workaround plan at this point of juncture.
Besides, I suggested the idea and mentioned the limitation under the link here.
